Easy entry country specific promotion

To promote the one-year anniversary of the Singapore to Fiji route, Fiji Airways wanted to run a promotion giving away discounted flights of 30, 40 and 50% off.

All entrants were also given the chance to win free tickets from Singapore to Fiji through a second chance “4 pics one-word” style quiz.

The landing page was promoted through social media influencers. Adwords Display and FB/Instagram sponsored posts.

Engage via influencers

Fiji Airways agreed that we should run the campaign as a competition where entrants would have the chance to win free tickets to Fiji. In addition to this FIRST suggested we offer plenty of big discounts as well to add to the incentive to enter.

As part of the campaign FIRST engaged the use of influencers to generate interest in an audience they have already established. FIRST built a competition platform and created a suite of sharable assets that the influencers were given in order to promote the competition campaign.

Another aspect of the campaign was to tie the campaign entry to individual codes attributed to each influencer so as to determine popularity and locate who generated entries.

FIRST built an engaging campaign site full of rich imagery that tells the story of “why to visit Fiji”. The site displays rich imagery of activities and resorts and the rich and varied cultural aspects of visiting the country.

Lastly FIRST included a game of skill component – a short quiz as part of the campaign entry mechanic.

Overall Results

Overall the campaign was incredibly successful. The target area, being Singapore only, clearly restricted the reach but with more than 1200 entrants now added to the CRM the client was very satisfied.
