Australia – New Partners Down Under
Overture Australia recently added three major sites to its network of distribution partners, helping advertisers connect with more customers on both general search sites and portals, as well as appropriate, targeted verticals.
The first of these new partners, media giant Fairfax Digital, features three paid placement listings at the top of the search results page across its network, which includes online versions of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers. Also, our Australian market recently signed News Interactive to a deal that includes our entire range of products, including Precision MatchT, Content MatchT and Yahoo! Search.
Overture serves up to five advertiser listings on News Interactive in response to user searches. Optusnet, one of the most frequented ISP portals in Australia (RedSheriff), is Overture’s third new partner Down Under. Optusnet displays as many as four Overture results per page. Together with continuing partners nineMSN, Yahoo! Australian & NZ, AltaVista, Mooter Search, Ozemail and HP, Overture Australia now reaches approximately 90% of unduplicated Australian Internet users–representing the country’s largest distribution network.
